Latest news from our Family!

I just wanted to share a little update about our family, I haven't taken any pictures the last few days or I haven't had anything special to photograph. Erin's work is picking up a bit and they have been stocking some fish and plan to do more. Erin is working on his electrical barriers and he's glad to have project and something to keep him busy. I've been busy with kids, homework, cleaning, cooking and taking care of all the animals. I've been reading allot and find it a great thing in my spare time. My sister in law and I've been spending weekends now and then scrap booking. I'm anxious for warmer weather and can't wait to get outside more. Mackay is doing very well, He's doing great in school and his teachers say he's talking more and doing well. We hope he keeps making all these great improvements. Although middle school next year, brings many worries. Clayton is doing fine, he's gotten over his terrible cold and broken ear drum-although he still has some hearing loss. We hope over the next few months it will heal and some hearing will return, if not we will look further into the damage. He's doing great in school, and started a club with some friends and they meet at the park and play games, it's cute. Brenden's doing well...still teasing his siblings allot! He's been giving us the most stress....he hates homework and every night we are up late working with him and we are trying to get caught up. His reading has improved so much and is doing well. He's such a joy and I just hope he continues make us smile. Alaina is getting so big........I can't believe in the fall she will start kindergarten. She got her kindergarten shots and goes for kindergarten registration on the first or second of April. She's really been into coloring, drawing and painting lately...she can spend hours doing it. I'll try and add some pics soon.....but until then, that's about the latest news.

Funny Things Our Kids Say!!!

I wanted to share a few funny things my kids say and I’ll add to it now and then.

While sitting at the dinner table Mackay says, “Girls are obnoxious all they do is chat, chat, chat, it’s annoying!!!”

Alaina ran into the bathroom, few minutes later came out and this is how it played out. Me: "Did you flush?" Alaina: "No!" Me: "Well you better go do it." Alaina: "But mom it's not even yellow!" My sister in law and I both laughed so hard we had tears in our eyes. It was hilarious!

I was sitting at the computer, Alaina comes up to me and says "Mom your not an Alien, your my mom." It was so cute and funny.

We Got New Chicks!

We Started a new little adventure. I decided to get some new baby chicks. They are Brown Leghorns & the other two are buff orpington-- so Adorable! They are being more noisy and needy then I remember our first set of chicks. We allready have 6 of the Barred Rock Hens that we raised as chicks last year. They are doing great and we love all the eggs we are getting, They look like the black and white chicken, pictured above. We also have a Hen that we won at the fair last year, she is a barred rock/buff orp--so i've been told:) Raising little chicks is so fun and I enjoy it--plus I love the getting the reward of eggs after months of raising them.
March 30th...Update on the baby chicks, they are going on 4 weeks old and getting bigger every day. We took them outside for the first time on friday and they loved it. I'm getting anxious to get these little critters outside, but it just won't warm up enough for them. I'll add some recent pictures later. Fun fun.

cLaYtOn iS SiCk!!!

I took Clayton to the Dr. today! He has had a cold for about a week, then over the weekend started complaining of an ear ache. So I took him as soon as I could today. The Dr. told us that his ear drum burst, fluid and blood was leaking from his ear. They gave him a nebulizer treatment, which was to help with a couph that's sounds horrible. So after all is said and done, he went home with 3 presciptions. An inhaler, antibotics and ear drops. On top of all the he needs cold medicine and tylenol. He's a sick little guy!
Mackay asked me today if I would take a picture of him with all his Robots.
He said "Can you put it on your blog" Funny guy!
He loves Robots, he asks for them every christmas.

This is a few pictures of our Valentines Party that fell through.
Brenden fell asleep and was a grump and didn't want any part of it.
