What are you thankful for?

If you are always yearning for newer, better or more, how could you possibly ever be satisfied and thankful? That is why I try, as often as I can, to remind myself of some of the things that I am grateful for in my life. It keeps me grounded, it keeps me living in reality when thinking about the fact that many people around the world do not have it as good as I do. Thinking of your own life in the realm of the entire planet sure helps one be thankful! I'm grateful most for the simple, quiet, happy, sweet moments of my life and for my family who love and support me unconditionally. What are you thankful for?

Happy Halloween!

Alaina was a cute little pink unicorn!
Brenden was storm trooper from star wars!
Clayton was a scarey pirate! Urrrrg....
We actually got Mackay out Trick or treating this year!
He decided to go as a hunter after a
little encouragement from Mom! He even
went to school on Friday wearing his costume.
We had a few trick or treaters earlier in the day
and then we left and went to our Ward party.
They had a nice dinner, soup and rolls!
They let the kids play carnival games.
Clayton was incharge of the bean bag toss
and I think It was the most popular game there.
They also had balloon popping, cake walk and Pin the
nose on the pumpkin. The kids had a blast!
Then Erin took the kids out trick or treating,
I stayed home to pass out candy and not
a single person came to our house. At church
the next day we were told several times we
were the only kids they got and how excited
they were that aleast our kids came to thier houses!
What's up with that?
