Our New kitchen!
Front view of half of the kitchen.
Another front view of the kitchen.
Notice the glass cabinet in the corner,
that was something I wanted and I love it!
This is my favorite part of the whole kitchen
we now have a cabinet just for the garbage can :)
We know have a small Pantry,
which I'm so excited about.
We decided on a simple crown molding.
With the new kitchen we also got a new stove,
refridgerator and microwave.
The far end cabinet is for flour and sugar.
Closer view of the counter top. I love the color!
We are thinking about using this tile as
part of the backsplash.
This is the sink and faucet you have know Idea
how excited I was to finally have a sink,
it was a long awaited prize and I am excited!
Back on Alaina's Birthday September 2nd. We had
a fire in our kitchen. It was the absolute most
scariest thing I've ever been through and I never
want to have to experience that kind of terror ever
again. Now over 2 months later, we finally
have our kitchen back to normal. Erin's brother
Bruce has been working very hard to help us
get us a kitchen and we couldn't have done it with
out him. He helped with drywall, and lighting as
well as made all the cabinets and counter tops
they are just beautiful! We have had my visiting
teachers, Relief society presidency and Bishop
all helping us get through it. When it was all
said and done it has just been such a blessing
and we feel truly humbled every single day.
We are so greatful it was just our kitchen and
now our whole house, we have had true angels
looking out for us!

Happy Halloween!
I don't think Alaina could have been
any cuter! She was a Pink Witch.
When she told me she wanted to be a
pink witch for Halloween, I told her
they didn't make that kind of costume,
boy did she prove me wrong. We
went into Kmart and sure enough
we found a pink witch costume!
Mackay was just amazing this year,
he dressed up, he even went trick or treating
and I was very proud of him.
He went as a Marathon runner!
Eww how creepy, Clayton
was a Grim reaper!
Brenden just loved this costumes
he wore it around the house way before
Halloween. Cutest M&M ever!
All the kids just before we left to go
trick or treating!
The Elementary School does a Costume
Parade every year! They had a great time
and all the kids look so great.
They blow horse in front of Brenden is Mckenzie,
one of Brenden's best friends. They were too darn Cute!
What a busy, busy Halloween it was for us this
year. We had to get up early that morning to
get all dressed up in thier halloween costumes
for school. Then we had the costume parade,
then later on we had the Halloween carnival at
the Elementary school. They have been preparing
for that for quit some time now. It was a fund raiser
for the school, and all the ticket money went to the
school. So I was so happy about that. Let's just say
120 tickets later, we were so pooped. But the kids had
an absolute blast. Then it was off to go trick or treating.
We started off in Lyman and then Alaina had
had enough. But the boys still wanted to go longer
so Erin took them to Bicknell. They ended
up with so much candy, Oh my!
Dad and Jane, I'm not sure how many are
still viewing my blog. I don't think very many.
So needless to say, this blog is for you. I
hope that it keeps you up to date on the
happenings of our family. We miss and love
you tons! We are hoping to come up for
Thanksgiving this year. But it all depends
on the weather and what we are going
to do with our dogs. I'm nervous to
leave the puppy at home, so we will see.
Check back to October posts, we got
a new dog!

CaRvInG PuMpKiNs!!!
So silly!
Yuck!
Mommy's Pumpkin.
Don't they look great all lite!
I had a great time carving pumpkins with the kids,
Erin was a party pooper and didn't want to carve
one this year. But, I think all the pumpkins turned out
so great!
Then we made roasted pumpkin seeds,
it's becoming a tradition in our house.
Many people have asked me how you make them.
Well lets just say, it's very easy!
Rinse them well of all the pumpkin slim.
Then just had a little bit of olive oil on a baking dish
add salt, garlic, seasoning salt, toss and bake for
30 minutes at 400 degree oven. Best part is
you just add whatever spices you want at the time
and they are so Yummy!
