Brenden wrote this cute christmas story in his 5th Grade class, I thought I would share it with you! Enjoy.
Froggy’s Christmas
It was Christmas Eve and Froggy could not wait! Because, there was only one more day until Christmas. Froggy went to bed and it was only 8:00 am and when he woke up it was 12:00 in the afternoon. Froggy ate his fly soup for lunch. Then he decided to go back to bed at 12:30. He woke up again it was only 5:00 o’ Clock and so he helped his mom make dinner. It was his favorite, Fly and worm Enchilada’s. After dinner he helped his mom clean up the kitchen. He then decided to watch his favorite television show Frog Mania, by this time it was 8 o’ clock in the evening.
He finally went to bed and he fell fast asleep. But, he kept waking up, so the night was very long! Froggy’s Mom and Dad were putting out all the presents under the tree. They didn’t see Santa Clause, because he was stuck in Froggy’s Chimney. All the kids in the animal world would be wondering why they did not get presents from Santa.
Froggy woke early that morning and was very excited to see what Santa gave him. But, he didn’t see any gifts from Santa and was very sad. He decided to look outside, and he saw a red light. Froggy got a ladder to see what it was. He climbed up the ladder and saw Rudolf. Froggy got on the sleigh and there were tons and tons of presents still on the sleigh. Accidentally Froggy pressed a button and then heard a noise. Froggy saw Santa Clause coming out of the Chimney; he had to hurry and hide! Santa Clause had just enough time to jump onto the sleigh as it was starting to fly away. Santa didn’t know Froggy was on the Sleigh. I watched as Santa’s Elf were throwing presents down all the chimneys, Santa didn’t want to get stuck again.
By now it was already 8 o’ clock in the morning and all the little animals were wondering where their presents were. They were very happy to see the presents coming down their chimneys. We flew all the way back to the North Pole! Froggy was so happy to see the North Pole. He followed Santa in the room where Santa makes all the toys. He screamed with Joy, it was so cool to see all the toys! Santa turned around quickly and saw Froggy. Santa said, “What are you doing here?” So Froggy had to explain how he got to the North Pole. Santa Clause was very nice. Santa wanted to make sure I got home safe; Mom and Dad must have been worried. We took another ride in Santa’s sleigh.
When Froggy finally made it back home, his Mom and Dad were so happy to see him. Froggy told them all about his adventure. They ran outside to see if Santa was still there, but he had left. Froggy’s Mom made him the best Hot Chocolate, with fly sprinkles. Froggy finally got to open his gift from Santa and it was exactly what he wanted, a Fly trap! Froggy had the best Christmas ever!
The End
